Hepatitis Study Center
(HSC) Philosophy
The Hepatitis Study Center is a suburban, community-based
treatment center created to offer diagnostic and treatment options for chronic hepatitis, and to offer patients the benefit of selected clinical trials
without the need to go to the center-city academic centers. The HSC also believes that nobody should be denied care solely on the basis of inability to pay.
We also believe that most patients can benefit from interferon-based therapies even those waiting for
liver transplantation.
Our Mission
The
Endoscopy Center, Inc. and Endoscopic Microsurgery Associates, P.A.
are engaged in the coordinated provision of academic level,
state-of-the-art endoscopic, gastroenterological and hepatic services
to the immediate community and surrounding region.
It is the organizational philosophy that tertiary level care in these
areas should be obtainable to the residents of the region at large
without the need for displacement from the support base provided by
proximity to home, family and established medical and allied health
care providers.
